Most international safety organizations require that fire foam concentrates are tested on an annual basis. Fire foam storage containers operating under harsh environmental conditions, such as ships, terminals, offshore platforms, and airports, should be routinely monitored for fire foam contamination and deterioration. Conducting periodic sample testing ensures that your foam is in peak condition to perform it’s potentially life saving function when called upon.Fire foam testing includes: 

• Appearance
• Kinematic Viscosity @ 25°C
• Expansion Ratio
• pH Value
• Sediment % m/m
• Specific Gravity @ 20°C

Foam concentrate tests are done in accordance with NFPA 11 “Standard for Low, Medium, High Expansion Foam.”
